We read a variety of plays from comedies to tragedies, old and new, with everybody participating. Over-acting is encouraged and the main aim is to have fun. There is no performance anxiety as we don't perform in front of an audience and no acting experience is necessary.
Examples of plays we intend to read are:
- The Winslow Boy
- An Inspector Calls
- Amadeus
- Blithe Spirit
- A Man For All Seasons
Regrettably at the moment there is a delay in running the group. This is due to the play reading sets, usually obtained from the drama library in Gloucester, which are temporarily unavailable due to its moving. We are hopeful that these sets will again be available in March.
